Envanto Market Upgrade Plugin is Failing

I received a message in the WP admin that the previous Envanto plug in was deprecated. I deleted it and followed the installation instructions here https://envato.com/market-plugin/

It failed to install with message “destination folder already exists” with the directory.

If I log in to my hosting cpanel and manually delete the folder, will it not delete the theme for my entire site? Not sure what the next steps should be, any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, it is safe to delete the /wp-content/plugins/envato-market/ directory if uninstalling from the WordPress Admin panel doesn’t do so automatically.

Your theme and content are in different directories so no worries! If you want to be on the safe side you can also rename the directory to something like envato-market-old temporarily. :+1:
