Specially for the contest I made a design for my most dramatic track. This piece embodies the sorrow and despair. Confusion of senses merges with eruption of nature’s fury. “Trailer Epic” like a tornado snatching the letters from the description and destroys links to similar tracks. Item Name

We appreciated the best practices offered since the name wasn’t saying all we wanted to convey. Now we are not only using keywords, but its more descriptive and more appealing to the user. As well we added ALT to images, so both google and the users know what the image is about.

Opening Description

After reading what’s most important in a description, we wrote something that would add value to the person who’s looking for a template and found exactly what they were looking for because of useful keywords about the product and its functionalities.

Reduce Load Time

After understanding that GIFs and images that aren’t optimized were making the load time excruciatingly long, we realized there’s other ways to show the theme and it’s amazing functionaries without compromising the user’s time.
Our load time used to be a demolishing 77 seconds including 70 requests but now we managed to lower it to 8 seconds including 62 requests.
Also all of our images are now served from a cdn with https as Envato suggests.

Keywords

Selecting the right keywords is imperative to positioning a product, but that’s not always easy when you don’t know how your customer is searching for your product. That’s why we used the Google Keyword Planner in order to have an insight into the user search practices.

Content

Repeated content is something to be aware of since it can ruin PageRank in Google’s “eyes”.
It’s important to don’t forget that copy will be read by a search engine but also by the user, so it’s essential to have a human sense so it’s appealing and gives relevant information.
Connecting content it’s not only important for SEO purposes, but as well for giving the user added value by providing useful information like tutorials or related products that would make their experience better.


Visual and Graphical

Research

After some research on templates sites on codecanyon we found that best sellers use some practices in their design presentation that we used as inspiration to revamp our own. We realized that using more images and less text was something that was adding value, that’s why we implemented this.

Implementation

We decided to hire professional designers to create brand new designs in order to emphasize the differential characteristics that we offer in our products.
Our aim became to treat every detail to transmit a clean and simple feeling, stressing the functionalities and all the added features the themes comes with.

We selected our best testimonials and reviews in order to transmit the quality of our product and how it’s helped the customer saving development time and it’s helped them to create a wonderful final product from our themes.

Key Features

Creating a list of product features is important because each client has different needs and are looking for different solutions. This list helps to emphasize the ease of use, adaptability and customizability the product to customer needs.

Product Preview

We understood the importance of showing high quality preview images that illustrates the versatility of the product and how it can be adapted to the different needs of customers.

Product Demo

We wanted to show how the theme app actually works, that’s why we created a simulator where the user can interact with the demo and get a real feel of its functionalities and flow.

Features List

Having a complete list of functionalities can not only give information to the customer, but as well work for SEO purposes since most of the functionalities are keywords.

Call to Actions

We know the importance of a well functioning CTA, that’s why we didn’t want to overuse them and confuse the user. We have carefully selected some that provoke the desired action depending where they are situated.

We realised consistency is key so we redesigned our logo and started using it very consistently throughout our products, in the way we brand our items thumbnails and items preview images:

Hi.
After more than 1k sales, i decided it was the moment for a major update of my jQuery Timeline Plugin. A complete rebuilt has been done on v.3.0 in the full code structure, adding new features (the bigger one: responsiveness, but also a new fullwidth layout or built-in themes) and simplifying the user customization. The full previews design have been modernized, keeping the essence of the plugin functionality. Also new font scheme (using modern ‘Roboto’, instead of ‘Dosis’).

Regarding SEO, a complete search analysis have been made, keeping tags that were working and retrieving visits (both inside and outside Envato platform), changing others that were not considering the file at all. The title has changed to include the new feature, and the description has been modified considering the new features and options.
