Are you making ten times what you used to make on Market before Elements was introduced though?
Of course not! Still earning 50% more per month than my best ever performing year on the Marketplace. That’s for my motion graphics non-exclusive account though. My Elements earnings on my After Effects exclusive account were lower, and have been lower than the Marketplace from the start. All depends on your category I guess.
My main point is that ‘‘Obviously Marketplace’’ is an incorrect answer to ‘‘Marketplaces vs Elements: Which is better for higher revenue?’’.

People are uploading but profit is decreasing every month for authors. It would be good if someone either from stuff or wherever from this website could told us why should we upload any more to get less but without philosophical and utopian type of explanation if possible

Exactly more files less profit for the author and more profit for Envato… this is why the ELement model is flawed big time!

50-70% down in earnings here over recent couple of months, with no explanation why. Are we supposed to just accept this with no explanation from management? @BenLeong Can you explain to us why there has been a very sudden and dramatic drop in earnings, so that we can make informed choices about whether it is an efficient use of time to create content for Elements?

It’s always a pain in the butt when that happens, but if they were making 100s of sales per day, sounds like it might be worth uploading your portfolio to those marketplaces as well 
I am on some of those platforms. That’s what made it so frustrating.
I wrote about this a year ago (I develop WordPress themes). This is because of Elements now has a lot of AI competitors for Audio, Images, Videos:
