Very bad day today, less than 5 bucks, but the worst thing I am finding out now about Elements is the taxes!

I got more than 10$ but i am video author and still huge decline. It looks like audio authors suffered from massive track upload spam from PremiumBeat.

Itās normal to have twice as little income on a 31-day month because there are only seven months in a year that have 31 days.
When it is February 28 on the dashboard, you will all see income for three days because it grabs all the money from subscribers who started on the 28thā31st.

Not about general sales. But it always looks like you are having some kind of pleasure when authors complain or sales go down etc.
The future is clear. Marketplace is going down and subscription model is taking its place. And stock music business is different than yours. You are a coder ı guess. I have no idea about your business so i canāt say anything. I suggest you the same. Mind your own business.
in my case Content ID and PRO are income sources that compansate for the loss from the marketplace. And i know this is true for many authors. One project can save your whole month. or months!

I have no pleaseure but when I addressed this issue on the marketplace saying that sales are really bad as time passes you guys from Elements were in total silence ā¦
Now that things are getting worse on Elements as well you start complaining here on the forum is like eating sugar and when you get fat you are angry that you got fat, this trend will continue to go down and down until there is nothing leftā¦ the more authors will be part of Elements the more your income will decrease, I am not sure what this means for Envato since probably they will get a constant income but in time this will change when the author will lose interest and move to something else.
I say it again Envato is not about NUMBERS and quantity, it is about quality and the interaction between author/staff and customer/author, our product no matter what it is stock or code has an identity you can see that it has created first with attention to detail and love/pleasure in making it, Elemets is the exact opposite of thisā¦
As for stock I never paid for a photo, video, or audio since there are millions for free and now AI.
The Elements model was doomed from day one and is dragging the entire marketplace with it.
It is my opinion and I have to express myself since I canāt do anything else if I were in charge I would close Elements on day 1 or completely decouple it from the marketplaceā¦ and turn my attention to the author and marketplace-like it was in the old days, we were feeling secure and focus on our work now we have to do everything and things are getting from bad to disaster!
And yes this is still possibleā¦ even in this subscription eraā¦I literally hate to subscribe to anything, they fish you with 20$ per month and you end up paying much more than thatā¦ also I donāt like browsing if it feels expired or outdated products/stock whatever
Why donāt you get it that Elements was not built for the author, ut by a CEO who wanted to make money and did not understand how Envato works, probably he had no idea what it took to create somethingā¦ he was pure money driven and profit at all cost and look where we are today because of this!
I am absolutely convinced that the entire marketplace will crash soon considering what is happening, I hope I am wrong but so far I have been right.
Recently I released three new plugins using threejs and shaders that could easily win an award and I got zero sales in a few daysā¦ March is a good monthā¦ so everywhere sales and visits are getting worse and worse, and most of my clients are asking to buy directly form me because they hate the Envato taxes and all kinds of little addition that makes the final product price much bigger that it is listedā¦ and I think I will stop hereā¦

Customers are stating that they are afraid to purchase something from the marketplace, I get to many emails asking to buy from me and not from Envato and yes I have been loyal all this years!
