The lead-up to the biggest online digital shopping season of the year is fast approaching.
In anticipation for this, our email team is going to run an ecommerce marketing sale to help our customers prepare for this busy sale period by updating their ecommerce shopfronts.
This sale will be promoted through our email marketing channel.
We’re looking for ThemeForest and CodeCanyon items that will help our customers make their Cyber Monday sales really sing. This time we’re more specifically seeking:
- Shopify Themes
- WooCommerce Themes
- Magento Themes
- Prestashop Themes
- Opencart Themes
*We’re also looking for CodeCanyon items that support these theme categories.
Important: items in the sale would be reduced to 50% of their standard price (rounded down when necessary, as Envato prices must be set to whole numbers) for the dates of the sale: 9th Oct – 17th Oct, 2018
Step one: Nominate your items by evening Thursday, October 4th (AEST).

Note: We’re only accepting a maximum of three items per author; so choose wisely and put your best content forward! You must be the author of any items you nominate
Criteria for selection
In order to be eligible for the sale you will need to meet the following criteria:
- You must be the author of the files you’re submitting
- The files must have at least 20 sales each
- The files must be 4 star rated or higher
- The files should relate to the categories we’ve listed above in this post
- The item must have been listed at a consistent price for the 30 days leading up to the promotion period (which means you can legitimately say that your promotional price is at a 50% discount).
By nominating for this promotion, you are choosing to set your price to 50% of its Original Price, for the specified week-long period. The included buyer fee will not change. Note that we define the “original price” as the price the item has been set at for the past 30 days in the lead-up to the sale.

Step 2: Our marketing specialists will select the items
Our marketing team will select the files based on the quality of the nominations. They will begin their selection on the 5th of October (AEST), so make sure you get your items nominated by the 4th.
If your items are selected for the promotion, we’ll notify you via email.
Step 3: The sale goes live.
If selected, your discounted item will be promoted with the discount based on the price of your item for the week-long promotion period: 9th Oct – 17th Oct.
We’ll automatically apply the 50% discount to the selected files just before the sale goes live. You may want to leave a discount in place after the promotion or to manually return the price to its original level or a different price altogether. It’s entirely up to you !
Step 4: Throughout the Sale
We’ll be periodically reviewing our offering to make sure that we’re promoting the best deals for customers. Items which don’t meet the promotional criteria will be removed from the promotion (but of course, will remain for sale on Envato market). We also reserve the right to add or subtract items for any reason.

We retain sole discretion over the files we promote, and we may change the content and format of the promotion (including which files are promoted) during the promotion in order to ensure it remains fresh and generally irresistible to recipients.
What if I want to withdraw my nomination?
No problem. If you change your mind after nominating, simply flag your comment and let us know that you want to withdraw your item from consideration.
