does the update possibility end with the ending of item support?

Hi there,
my english is to bad…

So I am not sure if its possible to make further future updates from my theme when the 6 month support is over.

Hi,

you will received update life time without any paying service but support does not.
if your item author update their theme you just go to download option in your themeforest account and download that item update and use that no problem there is at all.
but if you want to customization or bug fixing after 6 month support over then you have to customize yourself or hire someone who is expert on your purchase item.
