DOCTOR Theme - container error

Having issues with the background to my site’s child pages on my site menus…the white background will not stay fixed when hovering, but the weird thing is that the code appears correct. (expands the background border to the length of the text + 5px.)

So I’m incredibly confused as to why it’s not working. It’s even div wrapped correctly.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a fix?

Humm, you also should consider fix it for mobile devices, because the responsive behaviour of your theme isn’t really working as it should be…
