Developers demand high marks for support

I bought a popular template for wp on themeforest.
Faced a number of problems.
As the resolution of the problems was delayed and the support team did not respond as expected, I left negative feedback.
Support now requires me to change my review and give the template an excellent rating (5 stars).
Hinting that otherwise they will not answer my questions and help with fixing bugs in their product.

Do you think this behavior is normal?

P.S. Problems associated with flaws in the template functionality.
Those. the features stated in the product description did not work or did not work properly.
The developer replied that he knows how to solve the problem, but requires first to change the review to an excellent one

You don’t need to change the review to get the support. Contact Envato support with the screenshots if they continue asking to change the review before the support
