Customizing the Eveny Theme

I just purchased the Eveny Theme. Need some help making some minor customizations:

  1. How can I remove the start and end times (or just the end time) from the events slider?
  2. How can I change the display order in the events slide to show from oldest to newest (most recent). It currently displays the most recent ones first.
