Customize layout of the writing theme

I purchased the theme called “writing” and I’m a real rookie at this. I have two questions:

  1. The customize tools don’t give me options for 2 or 3 column layout. Where do I find that tool?
  2. How can i move images on top of the post
  3. Where can I find a manual or docs for this theme?

I’m not getting any answers or acknowledgement of my existence from a support ticket.
