CSS/JS Protector Rejected Honenst feedback

Hi everyone,

I’ve built a tool called SafeLayer a smart PHP-based system that protects CSS and JS files by delivering them securely (instead of exposing them through view-source). I’ve put a lot of effort into this project, including:

  • A clean, responsive UI
  • Full documentation (README, usage guide, license)
  • High-quality preview images and screenshots
  • A working live demo with real use-case simulation

Despite this, the item was hard rejected by Envato, citing “quality standards.” I’d really appreciate some honest feedback on:

  • Overall presentation and UI/UX
  • Packaging (structure, completeness)
  • Usefulness or uniqueness of the concept

Any feedback or suggestions to help improve it for a resubmission would mean a lot.

Thank you in advance!

Can you share the documentation? CSS part won’t work but I’d like to check the JQ part.

I may need something similar for that, I was curious if it works or if I should start the coding from scratch.

I don’t understand the point of you’re not sharing the documentation but that’s OK.
