Doesn’t have to be an author, and if you have a decent concept, can sell it well, and offer a cut of the winnings… then there should be no need to pay them until you win.

A part of the requirements to enter is “you must transcribe your video”.
Do we really have to transcribe the whole video ? My video is 21 minutes long, packed with narrated content. Should I just dump all that in the video description ? Is that really a good practice ? Google already has transcribed the video and knows exactly the contents of that video anyway.

All entries that haven’t transcribed are automatically disqualified ?
