If I apply for US copyright but later decide to alter some parts or make a new mix of the same song using slightly different sounds, will I still have copyright of this song? (Without changing the main idea/melody of the song)
I thing the copyright is about melody & rhythm essentially, maybe harmony… arrangements, sounds etc are other things
