Can this be done? Would it be hard to do? I imagine it would have to be converted to JS and CSS to work as a plugin? or maybe there’s a template plugin that allows perl to work with WordPress as a plugin?
The search engine is copyrighted but I know the author because he hosts my site and is a programmer (retired). He offers this free search engine with all his hosting plans. We have talked and he’s interested.
Another thought is: If he sold it here as is in perl programming and only loadable if a API number is provided. how would that set up work on there end? Because if it easier to do it that way and just run it from their server through an API here then he might just go that way.
