I am so shaken up by this necessary offensive e-mails from your author.
I DO NOT need this stress and will not let anyone else go through it.
How is this acceptable to treat a customer? Was this really necessary?
Take a moment to read the e-mails I’ve been getting from the author requesting for a refund because it just won’t upload even when he tried it himself.
First insult: Subject: Re: [ThemeForest] Message sent via your Envato Market profile from [removed by mod]
Oh my god. I am sorry you are so stupid…
Of course there is none because you have to open one first.
I repeat again. You have to open refund request…
Second insult: Subject: Re: [ThemeForest] Message sent via your Envato Market profile from [removed by mod]
Oh my god… I have no word for you…
You just have to open that link and send request.
Ask Envato, they will tell you the same. You have to open refund request, not author.
Third e-mail after realizing he sent the wrong link and that he was the one who made a mistake: Subject: Re: [ThemeForest] Message sent via your Envato Market profile from [removed by mod]
Oh apologies. My mistake, my bad.
Please open this link https://themeforest.net/refund_requests/new
And then insults continued non-stop after that… This should NOT be acceptable. So sad and disappointed. I hope no one else goes through this kind of treatment ever.
As @hevada, my colleague just said, we’re very sorry to hear you had this experience. Please use the Envato Help and Support link to contact Envato Support and share your experience. This attitude from any member is not tolerated and will have consequences. Please be sure to report this to the support staff so they can investigate further! We’re a loving community of developers, designers, producers and of course, the most important aspect of all of this is our relationship with you, our faithful buyers! Therefore, please report this, and don’t worry, appropriate investigations and actions will be taken!
I completely agree with you. No one can ever talk like that to a customer.
That’s serious and I strongly hope it will be addressed.
I understand frustration but calling a CUSTOMER stupid is totally disastrous for all of us.
Please, report that behaviour to Envato Support immediately.
Side note: hopefully you noted that on Envato there are different sellers and not everyone of us will ever talk like that to a customer. In fact I hope that’s a single isolated case which will be definitely addressed by Envato Staff.
Thank you very much for getting back to me and taking this matter seriously. I found this site through YouTube video that recommended this website theme as one of the top 10 best photography themes. It’s hard to believe still… I just cannot comprehend anyone treating customer this way. I’ve never have encountered anything like this.
Thank you. I am saying this cautiously but I think he was not on right mind. Perhaps on drug…?
He finally admitted it was his mistake that he sent me a wrong link after repeatedly calling me that I’m the stupidest customer he’s ever met and there was no words to describe how stupid I was.
He never apologized that he was the one who made the mistake and then he went on insulting me again and told me I like to find someone to blame.
It’s hard for me to believe as well, I’ve been a member here for almost 10 years and a community moderator for the past 7, and I can honestly say that I can count the times this happened on one hand!
Please do! Envato Support takes these things very seriously, and they will get in touch with you for all your conversations and then proceed in investigating the author! We believe in love and respect, and we cherish those values dearly! Whenever you have trouble always contact support!
As @crivion stated, we truly hope this experience hasn’t changed you mind about the community, as I said before, in the past 10 years I’ve been around as a member and Community Moderator this has happened less times than I can count on one hand. Don’t worry! Things will get solved by support in the shortest possible time!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention! Cheers!
