Confused about the item name .

Hi,

I have an item named “Quanto – Creative Agency Figma Template”, and its corresponding HTML version titled “Quanto – Creative Agency & Portfolio HTML Template” has also been approved on ThemeForest.

Now, I’m planning to submit the “Quanto – Creative Agency & Portfolio WordPress Theme”. However, I noticed that there is already an approved WordPress item on ThemeForest titled “Quanto – Business Responsive WordPress Theme”.

My question is:
Since the names are similar but the purposes and target audiences are different, will there be any issue or conflict if I submit my item under the name “Quanto – Creative Agency & Portfolio WordPress Theme”?

Please let me know if this would be acceptable or if I need to consider a name change before submission.

Whoever chosen the name as first, holds the name rights. If you have uploaded the item after, change the name for both of them, otherwise, you’d be dealing some additional issues later.

If the other author has taken the name after you, contact him and ask to change the name. If he says no, contact Envato support.
