Checkbox does not display in MVC project

I am using the stack bootstrap theme and within my MVC 5 Entity Framework project auto generated checkboxes do not display. I have narrowed it down somewhat. To display, a <Label for tag must follow the check box however the HTML razor helper classes to not appear to generate a <Label for tag. If I restore the default CSS the checkboxes appear. Where can I look in the CSS to fix this?
