I would be curious to see how this would handle 50 images at once though… I my latest theme i’m using PHP to do the same thing (in the backend to avoid any performance issues on the front), but it throws some errors for certain users, as it needs allow_url_open to be true… So a frontend solution would come in handy.
Really cool! This reminds me of another plugin which changes an element’s colour based on the colour of the underlying background / element.
