Can't you buy items with your earnings anymore?

I’m trying to buy something for the first time in a couple of years, am I right in thinking we can’t use our author earnings to buy items anymore?

You can buy with your author earnings but first you need to “convert” the amount you need to credit.

There is this checkbox on the checkout page:

Thanks! I didn’t see that, all I saw was the greyed out credit button.
