Can't upload purchased theme - "The link you followed has expired."

Hi everyone;

I’ve recently purchased one of the Newspaper themes. Downloaded both the full ZIP file as well as the Installable WordPress ZIP. Tried uploading but failed, giving the message “The link you followed has expired.” and “Something went wrong” in the tab header. Please refer to attached screenshot.

I’ve tried logging out and back in to the Dashboard, restarting my computer, redownloading the ZIP files. All to no availa.

I’d appreciate any suggestions or help. Thank you so much in advanced for your time.

Hi, Unlockdesign;

Thank you for your swift response. I managed to install the theme via the Envato Market plugin downloaded from GitHub.

Hope this helps others with the same issues.

Hi,
Is really simple to fix this.

  1. Be sure that you install theme only and not all pack
  2. Use ftp to upload as folder
  3. Use htaccess and rise your php limit for upload size.

This issue could be caused by a low max upload size value (upload_max_filesize and post_max_size), so please try to increase them (also the other php directives) in your php.ini file.
Please check the theme server requirements – https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ Contact your host and ask how to increase these values.

If the issue persist please send an email at https://themeforest.net/user/tagdiv#contact and provide wp-admin and CPanel access so we can take a closer look.
