Can't activate revolution slider

When I try to activate revolution slider, a message shows up at the top:

"Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

There is a problem on line 57 of your revslider.php
fix that problem.
Then your slider will be active

I’m a designer, very new with coding.
I found the revslider.php file but don’t know how to fix the problem.
