Cannot create a new page on Word Press using kit green theme

Hi I have a website which was built using the kitgreen theme. There appears to be a problem with the theme that is preventing me from creating new pages in word press.

After further investigation, I narrowed this down to an isolated issue with the current theme. I temporarily switched the theme to one of the ones WordPress provides by default, and then the post action for adding a new page was no longer displaying a white page. (I have now reverted back to the kitgreen theme)

-bash-4.1$ wp theme activate twentyfifteen
Success: Switched to ‘Twenty Fifteen’ theme.

-bash-4.1$ wp theme activate kitgreen
Success: Switched to ‘KitGreen’ theme.
