Cannot change background color on flatsome theme

I am technically able to make background color changes in wordpress control panel, however they do not affect the way the website looks. The background of the body shows as a dark color, which is not how it has been set. I want to make the background color lighter. I am not sure if something is overriding the settings. Please help if you can. The website is tappingintowellness.com, you can see the body on every pages is a dark green color, it should be a light color, again, this is not how it is set. I am using the Flatsome theme.

Have you tried to reach out to Flatsome theme author for support?

I apologize for my inexperience, but I thought I was in that forum. I thought flatsome is a themeforest product. I will check this out again. Thanks,
