I downloaded a free theme from themeforest and I want to use it some month for free and is it possible to upgrade later

If you mean you would like to purchase the theme license after few months then yes you can do it. But I would like to recommend to purchase a license from the beginning if you really like the theme for your website. By purchasing the license you will get free update download for lifetime and will get author support for the first 6 months.
