AWS keys not working with Woozone

I was having exactly the same issue with Woozone & Kingdom theme as the rest of you, however I think I’ve found a solution. So I thought I’d share it.

I was getting the dreaded “WooCommerce Amazon Affiliates was not able to connect to Amazon with the specified AWS Key Pair and Associate ID. Please triple-check your AWS Keys and Associate ID.
Amazon Error: 1 - SOAP Fault: (faultcode: aws:Client.AWS.InvalidAssociate, faultstring: Your Access Key Was Here is not registered as an Amazon Associate. Please register as an associate at https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/associates/join/landing/main.html.)”

I’d followed all of the steps only from all of the YouTube videos and documentations.

I’d missed on really, REALLY simple thing. I am only registered as an Amazon Affiliate in the UK. When I was setting up Woozone and on the ‘Amazon config’ page I’d left the ‘Amazon locations’ dropdown box saying ‘Worldwide’. As soon as I changed it to ‘United Kingdom’ my access key was accepted.

Perhaps I was lucky, but give it a go.

I am having the same issue as above. Under Amazon locations I don’t see an option to choose the United States. That is the program that I signed up for. I could choose worldwide and a few other counties but United States is not there. After double checking my keys I am at a lose for what to do now.

Also, I have my affiliate ids and account id but I don’t have any AWS login information. Where do I get that?
I got my keys directly off the Associates page under API.

Solution:

1)deactivate all access keys there:
https://console.aws.amazon.com/iam/home?#/security_credential

  1. Add credentials and only one there which you use:
    https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/assoc_credentials/home

This worked for me. Hope it helps you guys. I was struggeling with this problem for a week

I have a problem with you.I edited it by going to set up an account awsComplete all 5 steps.The last step delete Your Security Credentials Access Key ID for all it show After deletion You press to create a new Access Key ID and copy
Access Key ID and Secret Access Key put to woozone This is accomplished.

May i know why that “Join” option is disabled?

and I have sent an email from that “contact us” link. May I know that in how many days they will reply?

I donot find any reason why it should not work. Everything is set properly and have tried all the options.
