I’ve bought both. I have no knowledge of HTML and yet I was able to use ENFOLD to create a website that I like. Now I have just purchased Avada but I’m struggling with Avada. I can’t seem to find an easy way to create a page without knowing HTML…
I also have used both themes, but both doesn’t suite well in the terms of SEO. Website performance is one major OnSite SEO factor and both these themes are outputting many JS, CSS files in the Source Code.
Yes, Enfold is something better than Avada. However, I recommend you to checkout the Genesis Framework and its child themes. Those are the real SEO Themes in the market with simple setup.
Avada definitely works differently from Enfold but it is still a solid theme. It will take getting used to but once you understand it you will find it pretty much as easy as Enfold. Both of these authors are top flight and develop in their own way so the themes will never function exactly the same
As for the SEO side of things - yes Genesis has some good SEO features BUT it is a framework and the themes available for it are not even close to the league of design or functionality of these themes.
As two of the top authors and following millions of sales I do not think that either Enfold or Avada could claim to be optimised if they were not.
I agree they do spit out quite a few JS and CSS files (its worth noting many are minified due to this) but that is only a part of SEO and far from the be all or end all.

Unless I’m missing something totally…
Help?
I totally agree, I bought Avada and now I am changed it to The7, they have serious CCS issues with other plugins such as MemberPress and MyMail and when I tried to contact them to find a solution, they were so arrogant in their replies

Very right..I smell a pro :) ...both avada and enfold use bunch of jquery plugins , and bulk of CSS files .. it effect site performance ..
I’ve used Enfold a number of times and it is a JOY to use… simple, but has lots of possibilities.
I’ve purchased Avada but have yet to use it on a project - looks much more customisable, but that also means it has a lot more settings, which some users may not need or be scared off by.
I’m sure they’ve both VERY good in their own ways, but I simply cannot fault Enfold… it is astoundingly good.
