Avada - Don't know who registered it on my website so can't get purchase code now required

I’ve updated my Avada Theme to v7.3 on my website but am now having trouble updating the plugins. It seems I now need a purchase code to re-register (instead of the token) but I am not in contact with the person that developed the site so can’t go to the account to get it the purchase code.
If I buy a new Avada licence will I be able to add the purchase code for that to my existing website with no issues?

I think yes, you can and should work fine. But I strongly recommend ask this query directly to the theme author by posting comments going through the theme Comments page. The theme author will answer your query and will assist you.
