And Croatia were dirty in their fouling.
And again silence, there are no sales for 2 days already!
can anyone drop me a link of W-8 to fill it ??
It’s incredible! I’m crying! I’m in a panic!
1 - Go to your AudioJungle dashboard.
2 - Click on “Settings”.
3 - Scroll down until you see the “Author Tools” section.
4 - Click “Tax Information”.
5 - Start to fill the form (the questions asking if you’re a US or non-US person).
6 - The W-8 form will be accessible once you’ve answered the first few questions.
If you have other questions relating to tax, I suggest to search the forum or to open another specific thread. Good luck!
You should find the online form in Settings -> Tax Information
Edit: ZeRobot vos faster
Haha, we, robots, are always faster than humans.
(Except when we drink too much. Then, we become rusted cans).
Wish you good sales this month!

Hello Sales!
thanks a lot
thanks ifr the good info
I normally don’t upload SFX to AJ but I just came across 2 accounts that basically have all the same sounds (Seagulls, Ancient War Ambience, Outdoors, etc.) duplicated in both portfolios, and the saddest thing is that they actually sale x2. Already reported them.
It’s so frustrating to see so many talented professional sound designers struggle to get decent sales and see that so little is being done to control this rip-offs… Anyway, just pouring my discontent.
Pretty likely, because many of those duplicated items were approved within less than a month. If I upload something as specific as an ancient medieval war ambience I would definitely notice if my work is re-published a few weeks later.
It happened to me recently. I filled a form in to support but it’s a lot of hassle. Worth doing to stop theft of our hard work that is having enough of a hard time selling as it is.
The ones to look out for are the very short, heavily filtered sounds and multiple accounts that seem to look like the same person. Always make sure you have the watermark covering as much as you can.
I know it’s worth doing, but as long as Env doesn’t forbid this users to endlessly create new accounts after the old ones are banned, we’ll be just chopping off Hydra’s heads. Needless to say, this happens with music items and all across the markets.
I guess Id check would be a good measure.
Yeah, it’s really a jungle here lately… Just some of the things I noticed:
1.In other topic today was discussed how corporate tracks are named “ragtime” (?!?!)
2.I saw one of the tracks from respected elite author disappear from popular files last month, then I heard the exact same melody/progression/used sounds on the radio. ( big pop 2018 hit) So I guess it was probably removed due to copyright violation. I don’t know if it was sampled or just replicated very well…
-
Someone bragged here about huge number of ratings and sales on a new track. (really unrealistic ratio of ratings vs sales), then when it was called out by other author for potentially purchasing and rating his own items, he disappeared from this topic.
-
“Ambient” music CLONES. We all know what that means.
-
Everyone’s profile looks the same. They copy the current top author, and it’s the exact same profile layout. Not a big problem, but it’s not a really good way to stand out from the crowd.
-
I hear the exact same melody in 5-6 tracks in popular files through multiple genres. It’s that main catchy line from AurusAudio’s most popular track. So, it looks like Aurus has a lot of fans here, they should make a tribute band.
-
People here have multiple accounts and sell the same stuff.
-
People here are exclusive but are all around the royalty free markets selling the same items.
So many things gone wrong and almost everyone is cheating.
I’m not the most talented producer here, but I really spend a lot of time on each track, and I try not to copy someone or cheat the system. So when I see all this stuff, I just feel stupid.
It seems people with no imagination and or talent would rather lift the hard graft of ofhers to get ahead. It really is a depressing state of affairs that it has come to this. That is why I only sell my top pro music on more slective sites. Its the same with images being stolen on other libaries and given away free on rouge sites.
I do feel strongly that if these dubious accounts were weeded out our sales would be a lot healthier
People are forced to do whatever it takes to survive here, I can understand that. But Envato has to come up with something to prevent all of this, it’s the only way.
Yeah, you are right. No one is forced, but when options are limited people tend to cheat the system a lot more.
Half a day without sales! The month crawled to the middle, on one leg.
