Audio Idents Rejected?

Hello fellow sellers!

I am currently confused regarding my recent submissions to audio jungle, I have been writing audio idents in different genres from scratch and I have mixed and mastered the tracks.

All 4 of my audio idents submissions were rejected

This is what I received from Envato:

(This submission does not meet AudioJungle’s commercial production (recording/mixing/mastering) standard, and its commercial composition/arrangement standard either, unfortunately).

Could I have some feedback on the tracks to what the problem could be? As the feedback I received from Envato doesn’t explain exactly what they are not happy with? Is it length, mastering level? If someone could give me some advise I would really appreciate it, Thank you

(Update) - I sent an e-mail directly to the Envato team to see if I could get some more solid feedback.
This is what I received and I’m still none of the wiser, its not that I’m upset I just need to know ‘why’ so I can avoid the same mistake in the future, as I am prepared to write many tracks!

Hi George,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I’m Joana, an Envato Help Officer.

I understand your sentiments about the item you submitted for review that was rejected. This is part of the Author experience and while it may be upsetting or frustrating at first, there is always a valid reason behind it. Although, don’t let this experience get you down!

As it turns out, we are unable to provide additional feedback or advice for rejected items. However, we encourage you to take advantage of the many talented and helpful community members who choose to provide constructive feedback on our forums:

When the time comes that you’re able to make significant changes and can be considered as a completely new item that is entirely distinguishable from the first upload, then you may try again. It may not be considered acceptable without making any changes or improvements so I hope you would reconsider these options before submitting any item.

I hope this helps. Feel free to reach out to us if there is anything else we can assist you with.

All the best,

(Yes just tell me the valid reason!!) :joy:

Hard to tell. I guess they don’t think the indents are distinctive enough from the ones they already have on the market. Or commercially not interested enough to accept at this moment. Or you just had some bad luck … not sure.

I seemed to hear in the last indent (cinematic piano) some high hiss at the end. That only bothered me.

Hey, thanks for the comment and well spotted regarding the hiss at the end of the cinematic piano,

If that was the only problem i’m sure it would only be a soft reject right?

Also if it wasn’t commercially viable wouldn’t they of put it in this category: Your submission does not have sufficient commercial utility?

Its a pain as I don’t want to write 10 audio idents to only get 1 accepted if you know where I’m coming from :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
