I try to upload 2.5gb per ftp to sell on the platform, but to login via ftp it asks for an api, but in the documentation it does not indicate how to get it
Hi
You need to create a Personal Token here: https://build.envato.com/create-token/
Api permission for ftp:
When You will create a Personal Token can you confirm the following:
- You’ve generated a new API key here: https://build.envato.com/create-token/
- It has permissions to:
- View and search Envato sites
- View your Envato Account username
- When you log in you’re using the new API key as your password, and the username is set case sensitive
for ftp You will need to confirm the following settings:
Protocol: FTP - File Transfer Protocol
Host: ftp.marketplace.envato.com
Encryption: Use explicit FTP over TLS if available
Logon Type: Ask for password
User: <your Envato username here> (this is case-sensitive)
Password: <you will be prompted for the API key>
Thanks
but in token name, what do I have to put?
Thanks!!
You can name it anything you want.
you can name it what you like but for future recognize you can add ftp in the name as like Kezman FTP
Another question that I have, I am uploading an article for the first time, and I put the regular license price, but it obligatorily tells me to put an extended license price that I don’t want to use, it is possible not to use that field

as far I know for themeforest you have to set extended license fee.
but if i don’t want to use extended license? I find it very expensive for what I’m going to sell …
