I have a After Effects file that I need to edit but when I open it using After Effects i get the following error message:



after effects error the file you are attempting to open was created with after effects version 13.5

Is anyone able to convert the file so that I am able to open it?

That’s CC 2015… if you have CC 2015 to CC 2020, just click OK on the error message and it will convert it for you. If you have CC 2014 or earlier, you won’t be able to open it with your current version.
