Hi everyone,
I have a question about the images I need to use in my After Effects template when preparing it for download.
For example, in a slideshow After Effects template:
I understand that I need to use the Envato watermark logo, but my question is, do I have to place the watermark on every placeholder in the template? Or, can I create images labeled as “Placeholder 01, Placeholder 02, Placeholder 03,” etc., and only include the watermark logo in the intro and outro?
Thanks for your help!
Hello, regarding After Effects templates, you don’t need to use watermarks at all. Check out the preview video examples of other works. Watermarks are required for the footage category, not for AE templates.
I mean, i cant add image preview of my item in my project files to download right ?
so, my project will be empty in my placeholder for image and logo etc…
so, what can i put in those placeholder ? or do i have to keep it empty ?
If you don’t own the rights to these images, you cannot include them in the template. However, if they are your own images/footage, then you can include them. But typically, all placeholders are left empty; personally, I always leave them empty.
ok, thank for your answer
