Ha ha. I guess I am a bit behind the times with my plugins. Basically a soundfont is a container for audio that can be accessed via your DAW midi track or played via an attached keyboard rtc. It needs to be opened in a VST plugin such as Saffron and Phenome or a standalone software like synthfont… Maybe Kontakt can open them too?
Cool I’m down with it, like a vst only a collection of sounds rather than an instrument I guess. Anyway I use Sony Acid or Acid Music Studio as it’s now called. That’s some retro software, there’s no 64 bit version. It suits me fine though. ![]()
