+1 this. Hard to say what will affect your music youtube usage the most, but the longer the music has been around, more probable it is that it has ended up in videos. Also it’s not that much about viral videos (because if someone makes a viral video he definitely wants to get the ad revenue to himself and if your music makes the video tagged, he will definitely switch the music to something else like you nowadays can in youtube admin). It’s more about slow steady income from wide blanket of videos that are not interested in revenue.
