Adding original video audio to video template

Creating a Speaker highlight video. Anyone able to recommend a template that will let me actually have clips of source video with audio play out within the template?

I am using the EVENT OPENER one but am trying to customize it for just one speaker and let longer 30-45second clips play within it.

Hi @BlackRoseStudios

You can adding your footage with sound … when you insert the footage, make sure the speaker icon in Adobe After Effects is turned on.

But you also have to make sure to adjust the background music volume smaller if you want the sound from the footage to be heard clearly.
