I purchased a theme and it was not working as promised. I have asked for refund but unable to see any action regarding that from the developer. What should I do?
Hi,
If the author does not respond to the refund request within 7 days, you will be given an option to raise a dispute with Envato. This option should appear automatically as a link or button on the refund request details page after 7 days from the refund requested date.
Thanks
I am unable to see the refund created! Where can I see it?
If your request was sent to the author, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking link.
It is important you keep this link as you may need it to raise a dispute.
The tracking link gives you access to the refund request, where you can:
- Monitor the progress of your refund request,
- Communicate privately with the author (meaning that this conversation will be visible to you, the author and Envato only),
- Raise a dispute.
Few questions:
- When did you purchase the item?
- Did you check the documentation for the details?
- What’s the problem with the item?
It was purchased on 24th October. Initially I contacted support to fix some issues but it was not working in mobile. They told they will fix it but before end of refund time, I raised the refund request. Cant we have them in our account? I mean the refund request? Unable to see them in my emails
The problem with the item is, it is not responsive. It was not working in mobile. II am unable to fix all the bugs…it is not exactly as what is shown in demo. Even I have the screenshot of ticket conversation where they agreed. They told they will fix but never happened. My client also not happy and went with other theme…
This is a bit tricky situation. Most of the refunds are available within a certain time but it’s bee 3 months already. Secondly, if you see the same issues on the mobile version ( live website ) that would also put your situation in a gray zone.
Did you check the live site on the mobile? Do you see the same issues?
