A dot customization not working

I am using adot theme by thimpress to create a woocommerce website for my venture but I am facing many problems while customizing the site as listed below.

  1. The demo data shows failed to import almost all media files.
  2. The changes done using customize option are not reflected in the original website.
  3. Explaining the above point in detail- no changes are reflected when I try to change the appearance of any kind; be it color, style, layout, background, font, etc.
    I need to complete the website by Tuesday and I am still not poast step 1. I am using Wordpress 4.2.4 which is compatible with the current version of my theme.

Is there any answer for this question. I cannot upload media files using as xml files. Please help.
