I’m having a very large size when making video with 4k resolution and alpha channel. 4.5 GB for 30 seconds.
Is there a way to compress this more?
Render the alpha channel as a separate black and white matte.

Yes.
A bit, but that’s the only option aside from reducing the resolution, shortening the duration, or not having an alpha channel at all.
