I think the high brasses sound artificial.
And the track seems to be lack of commercial value in AJ standarts.

What I like about your track is the brass melody and the bass; I’d make hip hop/trip hop lo-fi flavoured track out of it if I were you

What would you suggest to make tracks more commercial relevant? Should the track be more simple? Should the mood of the song be more straightforward?

Do you mean there’s no melody to listen to? Or is the existing melody to dominant and draw’s too much attention?

It is rather hard to explain the “Commercial Value”. But when you listen to the succesful tracks here, and the tracks used on TV commercials, videos etc, you begin to absorbe that feeling. I know this sounds a little bit abstract but i don’t know the other way. Listening and analysing is the key in my opinion

I think the brasses are a bit too “far” in the background, maybe too much reverb here.
I like the overall ambiance, and I am 100% in phase with @MARiAN, I’d love to hear a chillhop / hiphop version
As for the commercial value… I don’t know, I just got rejected as well for a track where I am not sure what is wrong… Not easy when we are new to the game
@VIMR I forgot to say that I love the bass line here in your track!! Which VST / sample set did you use? It sounds really good.

I think the problem is not with the style of this song.
I noticed as a technical mistake that the brasses would be great to be rearranged in the mix. I also noticed that maybe would be more catchy for commercials if you would use more simple and commerce melody lines!
