1. Demo URL should be an actual site, not an IP address ??

Hey Guys,

One of our themes got soft-rejected and the first argument is

Demo URL should be an actual site, not an IP address.

why ?

Submit url using some url shortener like goo.gl

I think it’s because IP addresses can change sometimes, and domain name is more static thing.

May be that’s the reason. Purchase some domain they are cheep these days.

thanks for your reply, but we’ve been using those for demos for the last years and they’ve always been static e.g. http://188.226.241.135/globo/

it’s not that we’re running out of domains it’s just that we keep getting new arguments everytime the theme is being reviewed as it also gets reviewed by a different reviewer every time so there need to be a bottom line for all those arguments.
